The VPOINT TCT Straight 3 Flutes Drill Bits For Wood is a carbide boring and drilling tool. Ideal for high-feed drilling on CNC and drilling lines, clean-wall hardware holes and high-volume panel drilling.
Design and Construction
The TCT straight 3-flute drill bits for wood carry three straight flutes with tungsten carbide tips for faster, cleaner drilling. The specifications table lists the product attributes as stated by the factory, including material (tungsten carbide steel) and coating options (AlTiN, TiAlN, TiCN, TiN).
How It Works
Three flutes add a third cutting edge: each pass takes a thinner chip, so the hole wall finishes cleaner and feed can rise. The carbide tips hold diameter in abrasive board; coatings extend life further.
