The VPOINT HW Adjustable Scoring Saw Blades 120x20x2.8/3.6 12+12 teeth is a carbide-tipped circular saw blade. Ideal for scoring passes on panel saws, laminate panel cutting and MDF scoring.
Design and Construction
The HW adjustable scoring saw blade is a tungsten carbide scoring blade in the 120 x 20 x 2.8/3.6 mm, 12+12 adjustable size format per the specifications table. The table lists the machine brands the blade is built for (FRUED, LIETZ, LEUCO, AKE, CMT, ACCUTECH) and intended usage (panel, MDF).
How It Works
The scorer runs ahead of the main blade on panel saws, pre-cutting the laminate face on the underside of the cut so the main blade cannot chip it. The adjustable shims set the blade position to match the main kerf exactly.
