Design and Construction
The ZUND knife Z10 is a tungsten carbide digital cutting knife for ZUND systems; the specifications table lists the material groups it covers — banner PVC, folding carton, hardfoam, magnetic material, polycarbonate, polyester fabric, polypropylene, reflective vinyls, self-adhesive vinyls, tarpaulin and vinyls.
How It Works
The knife oscillates through the material at high stroke rate: the carbide edge parts clean plastics and banner stock without dragging, and the material list in the table defines the working range of the Z10 geometry.

Every cutter is inspected before shipment. Shank diameter, cutting-edge diameter, cutting length and overall length are measured against the values listed in the specifications table, and cutting edge runout is verified on the assembled tool.
Tools measuring outside tolerance do not ship. Inspection is performed under our ISO 9001 quality system, with batch records retained for traceability.
