Design and Construction
The VPOINT 2-flute CNC slab flattening router bit pairs a 40Cr chrome-molybdenum steel body with replaceable tungsten carbide insert knives. Insert-style spoilboard face milling cutter in carbide; the specifications table states the applicable materials (wood, MDF, laminate, particle board, plywood, acrylic) and the safety instructions for blade products.
How It Works
The insert knives seat in precision pockets and present ground carbide edges to the workpiece. When an edge dulls, the knife is turned to its second edge or swapped in minutes — the body, its shank and its concentricity stay on the spindle, and the next cut lands at the same dimension.
