TCT Saw Blades

TCT circular saw blades, Ø200-350 mm, 48-96T, bores 25.4/30/60 mm. General-purpose carbide-tipped blades for panel and solid-wood cutting.

The VPOINT TCT Saw Blades are a carbide-tipped circular saw blade. Ideal for general panel sizing, solid wood ripping and crosscutting and table saw and panel saw work.

The VP0031 TCT sawblade series carries tungsten carbide tips on a laser-cut, tensioned steel plate, with diameters from 200 to 350 mm. Tooth counts, kerf and bore follow the specifications table for the saw and the panel.

Design and Construction

The VP0031 TCT sawblade series carries tungsten carbide tips on a laser-cut, tensioned steel plate. Diameters run Ø200 to Ø350 mm with plate thicknesses of 2.2 to 4.4 mm, bores of 25.4, 30 and 60 mm, and tooth counts from 48T to 96T matched to each diameter.

How It Works

Carbide-tipped teeth are the standard for general-purpose panel and solid-wood cutting: they cut clean edges in a wide range of materials and can be reground several times. ATB groupings finish laminated faces; flat-group rips clear chips in deep cuts.

Applications

  • General panel sizing
  • Solid wood ripping and crosscutting
  • Table saw and panel saw work
  • General furniture production

Suitable Materials

  • Particleboard and MDF
  • Melamine-faced panels
  • Solid wood
  • Plywood and veneered panels

Suitable materials: melamine-faced particleboard, MDF, laminate HPL, veneered plywood, solid hardwood

Carbide tips cover a wide material range at economic cost, with several regrinds per set of teeth.

Material Comparison: Tungsten Carbide vs. PCD

This blade uses tungsten carbide tips — the standard choice for general-purpose cutting. The figures below show where carbide and PCD each win, so you can match the tip material to your volume and material.

Property Tungsten Carbide (This Blade) PCD Diamond
Hardness 1,500–2,000 HV 7,000–9,000 HV
Tool life on MDF / particleboard / melamine 30–60 h (baseline) 15–20× longer (500–1,200 h)
Tool life on solid hardwood 80–150 h (baseline) 10–13× longer (800–2,000 h)
Tool life on abrasive boards (fibre cement / composites) baseline 10–15× longer
Edge renewal 4–6 regrinds at shorter intervals Limited regrinds — the economics come from 15–20× longer intervals between changes
Cut finish Ra ~0.8 μm typical, degrades as teeth wear Ra ≤ 0.2 μm achievable, stable over the blade life
Thermal conductivity ~80 W/m·K 540–560 W/m·K — heat leaves the tooth tip fast
Friction coefficient ≈ 0.3 ≈ 0.05 — lower cutting forces and heat
Suited for General-purpose solid-wood work; the economic choice at lower volumes Abrasive engineered wood, laminates, composites, fibre cement, non-ferrous metals

Figures are typical published values; actual blade life depends on the workpiece material, feed rate, depth of cut, machine condition and maintenance schedule.

Delivery Scope

Single blade. Order by part number with the diameter, kerf, bore and tooth count stated in the specifications table below.

Why Choose VPOINT

  • One-year warranty on every blade — defects in material or workmanship are covered for 12 months from delivery.
  • Custom tooling — diameters, kerfs, bores and tooth counts built to your drawing or sample.
  • Non-standard fabrication — sizes outside the standard catalogue, including bore re-sizing and tooth-count changes.
  • Resharpening service — blades return to service after regrinding at a fraction of new-blade cost.
  • Factory-direct since 2008 — ISO 9001 manufacturing in Sichuan and Dongguan, China; 40Cr chrome-molybdenum steel bodies; no trading intermediaries.

Send a drawing, a sample or a worn blade, and our engineering team will quote the exact specification you need.

Precision & Quality Control

Every blade is inspected before shipment. Outside diameter, kerf thickness, plate thickness, bore diameter and tooth count are measured against the values listed in the specifications table, and tooth geometry (hook angle, bevel angle) is verified against the design drawing. Blades are stress-checked for runout and tension before packing.

Blades measuring outside tolerance do not ship. Inspection is performed under our ISO 9001 quality system, with batch records retained for traceability.
